Nasty Gal Winter Picks

Do you know about Nasty Gal?

It's the online clothing boutique that has swept the blogosphere with its keen curatorial eye, easily navigable website and aesthetically pleasing photography. Nasty Gal selects new as well as vintage clothing, shoes and accessories based on current trends and classic style. Their picks are always killer, and the look books they create are consistently styled to the nines and photographed beautifully. With that said, I bring you my winter Nasty Gal picks, for everything from holiday party dresses to that perfect oversize fur coat you won't be able to take off.

The "Tied Crochet Dress" is a perfect holiday frock with victorian details and a surprise in the back.

Not one for dresses? Channel Edie Sedgwick in this "MMM" scalloped sequin top paired up with flirty shorts, tights and sturdy ankle boots.

A quintessential badass staple, these Blank NYC leather pants are a refreshing choice for holiday parties and snowy rendezvous.

A well-tailored pair of cropped trousers never goes out of style, and these Stockton's are paired up just right with cranberry and rich brown for the holidays.

This Funktional draped leather jacket is an amazing, non-conventional staple. Pair it up with a huge fur hat and scarf, jeans and platform ankle boots for winter.

"Factory Downpour Trench Coat:" Chic, polished, tough, versatile and functional. What more could you ask for?

I'm a firm believer that leopard goes with everything, so dive into this fur coat and stay warm all winter, no matter what else you're wearing.

This Laura Kranitz Armored Chain Headband is the perfect addition to any holiday outfit, wether you opt for a classic party dress or leather pants and a huge fur coat.

The Gold Sturn "turband" is rad for the holidays because its velvet, and it keeps your noggin warm. Glam and functional.
Give your fingers some love! This Bronze Shield Ring adds rustic glitz to any outfit, and doubles as personal protection.

Cheers to holiday dressing and merriment!

Lula, I really like your insights about fashion and how to make it wearable. And I love the straight forward and relaxed voice in which you write. In fact, I would say try to bring some of this voice into your news writing. You have a really nice, clear natural style.

My criticism on this blog post is the lack of links! I want to be able to click on the pics, your description of the outfits straight to the site!

B+

Thanks Heather. Did you see the link at the bottom to the Nasty Gal website? Or did you want me to link each photo?
